Using only right angles in one continuous piece of metal, Fletcher works on the same principles as the Dutch Modernist art movement, De Stijl. Straight lines operating on vertical and horizontal planes guide the two-light wall sconce's design. Meanwhile, a tapered shade offers gentle contrast and a beautifully stepped back plate creates a sense of depth.
