Made of patented Americast, an engineered material which combines a high-quality porcelain surface with an enameling-grade steel and a molded composite reinforcement backing. Americast is lighter and more affordable than cast iron, but offers superior performance. The tub features an integral apron with an integral three-sided tile/water retention flange, a StanSure slip-resistant surface, a pre-leveled tub bottom, left-hand drain outlet, and drop-in design for easy installation in alcove applications.
