May 20, 2019 - If you're remodeling your bath or kitchen and like the idea of diverting your good quality materials from landfills, check out Boston Building Resources. The nonprofit's Reuse Center accepts donations of new and gently used materials for resale, helping people repair and improve their homes while also sparing the environment from needless waste. Discounts are given to charitable nonprofit organizations and to people who meet their income guidelines. The general list of products to donate includes cabinet sets, countertops (stone or solid surface), appliances, vanities, sinks (kitchen or bathroom, pedestal, drop-in, undermount), faucets, tubs, low-flow toilets, medicine cabinets, framed mirrors, and freestanding shower units. Boston Building Resources works primarily across Eastern Massachusetts. Learn more at BostonBuildingResources.com.
